Changes to Cenex® Refined Thinking platform coming
We are excited to announce changes coming to our online energy product training platform.
We will be discontinuing the current Cenex® Refined Thinking platform, effective December 31, 2024. Beginning in early 2025, we will transition digital product coursework to a new platform. CHS employees will have a single sign on capability, and we will also support a registration process for non CHS employees. This new platform will allow us to offer a more engaging and supportive experience within the comprehensive training journey for our energy products.
Please note the following key points:
- Beginning for FY26, refined fuels marketing will no longer require a representative at each location to pass the Advanced Premium Diesel Fuels course to certify a distributor location on Cenex.com and receive Cenex premium diesel ad share dollars for the upcoming fiscal year.
- Retail training will no longer be available on the future platform.
- The lubricants marketing team will close the required Cenex Total Protection Plan® and LubeScan® training early this year on December 1, 2024, and remove it from the website.
You should expect a brief period where training will be unavailable as the team completes the transition to the new platform. With a robust communications plan in place, guidance will be available outlining the new platform and registration process closer to launch.
