Hometown Pride 2.0 Winner Announced
With the launch of Hometown Pride 2.0, Cenex® is on a mission to partner with our local retailers, dealers and distributors to make a bigger impact. Hometown Pride 2.0 supports the philanthropic efforts connecting local Cenex communities and helps to build brighter futures for generations to come with the award of a $25,000 grant. After receiving a wide variety of qualified submissions, we’re excited to announce our very first winner!
Congratulations H&M Youth Rodeo Series!
Cenex and CBH Cooperative in Sturgis, S.D., have awarded H&M Youth Rodeo Series the first $25,000 grant through Hometown Pride 2.0. The youth rodeo series was honored for its commitment to advancing youth sports and the program’s work as a catalyst for community connection.
The H&M Youth Rodeo Series provides unique roping and rodeo opportunities for local youth to learn valuable life lessons such as responsibility, accountability, the importance of community and confidence building through the sport. The program not only keeps this beloved Western tradition alive but provides a space for local community members to come together and helps countless athletes make it to the collegiate and professional levels. The grant will be used to future-proof its facilities for current and future participants, including new fencing, terrain, bleachers, a picnic pavilion and a state-of-the-art sound system. We’re proud to support H&M and are excited to give back to the important work happening in their local Cenex community.
The Hometown Pride initiative was created for our Cenex retailers, dealers, and distributors to embrace what it means to be Powered Locally®, and to demonstrate the Cenex brand’s commitment to local communities. Powered Locally is built on neighbors supporting neighbors, where people know the importance of local businesses and community connection. The Cenex brand has a deep-rooted history of giving back to its communities, and we’re looking to you to help us celebrate these deserving towns.
All Hometown Pride 2.0 submissions will remain eligible to win throughout future entry periods. As a reminder, there’s still time to nominate before our next round of submissions closes on May 31!
