Lubricant product retirements and recommendations

As part of CHS’s portfolio simplification effort, select lubricant lines are being retired to reduce SKU complexity, improve operational efficiency, and focus on higher-volume Cenex® products. This streamlined approach will simplify inventory management and help sales teams better support customer needs.

Effective Sept. 1, 2026, the following products will move to “use up” status until inventory is depleted:

  • Irriflex®
  • Econex
  • Superlube 518®

Replacement recommendations will be based on each customer’s application. District managers and CHS Technical Services can provide guidance and support.

When planning customer transitions:

  • Review package-size availability. Availability may vary during the transition. CHS will continue reviewing packaging needs and may add package sizes for replacement products as appropriate.
  • Start conversations early. Identify customers currently using retiring products and discuss replacement options before inventory is depleted.
  • Match products to the application. Confirm equipment requirements and operating conditions to help ensure the recommended Cenex product is the right fit.

CHS will manage product discontinuation activities, replacement-product setup and related marketing and material updates. By simplifying the portfolio, we can better support high-moving products, reduce unnecessary complexity and keep the focus on delivering reliable Cenex lubricant solutions for customers.
